Conceptual Design

Many OEMs and would-be inventors have a commercial problem that they require to be solved with a technical solution. Unfortunately, they are not always ideally qualified to select the appropriate technology platform for that solution.

Selecting the right technology and developing the best feature set for that technology is something that few companies or design engineers do well.

Most in-house design teams are automatically biased from the current investment in tools and the experience of the design engineers tasked with doing the development. Many CEOs embark on the next generation of product development without doing independent due diligence on the technology platform, which can be a very expensive exercise in the long run.

From a simple FPGA design to the final commissioning of a complete hardware/software system, Prolificx uses formalised methods and procedures everyday to make certain that your products and services have a rapid and successful market introduction.

Using competencies built up over years of real-world design, Prolificx uses ISO-9001 techniques to formalise the development process from project management (contract control, resource allocation, milestone adherence, financial accountability), through the design process (concept, prototypes, design verification, compliance, and engineering change orders) to market launch (production prototyping and initial release).

EMC and Environmental

Prolificx has invested significantly in EMC test equipment and has a complete setup for conducted and radiated emissions testing. This includes screened room, EMC analyser, aerials, and LISNs.
As well as making the EMC setup available for hire, we also offer an EMC consulting service to assist customers solving those problematic issues that inevitably arise with EMC compliance.

Also available is an environmental chamber for temperature and humidity testing/verification of product.
