Your RF circuit design is of little value until it can be produced in volume at an acceptable cost. We are experienced in working with manufacturers to develop RF circuits that can be economically built and tested to whatever level of confidence may be needed for your product. We will work with your manufacturer during the early runs to get successful products built. We also design and fabricate factory test stands and develop their software.

Going hand-in-hand with RF design is solving problems with unwanted RF emissions and susceptibility. From the start of your project, your electrical circuit design will be done with an eye towards successful compliance testing. We are familiar with FCC, Military and overseas compliance specifications. We have good working relationships with several qualified test labs and we'll apply our experience to get your design compliant.

RF Design

Wireless Integrated RF and low power design center provides professional research and development and electronic design services, specializing in low power embedded microprocessor and radio frequency systems such as pagers, RF Active Tags, Contactless SmartCard systems, Zigbee, RFID and GSM/GPRS controllers.

The Wireless Integrated design team works closely with clients and customers to conceive and realize innovative electronic products by applying low power radio frequency and digital technologies.

We provide a full turn key design service from concept to finished product including RF design and simulation, hardware design, embedded software, production engineering and manufacturing.

EMC	- Field strength calculations and measurements for pre-compliance EMC testing (ACA, CE and FCC). - Responsible for organization (test plans) and directly involved in EMC compliance testing of 13.56MHz, VHF and microwave system (ACA, CE and FCC). - Contactless SmartCard reader pre-compliance EMC testing.
Modeling	- Non-linear modeling and simulation of microwave power MESFETs. - Large signal model development of packaged microwave power MESFETs. - Microwave system design and link budget calculations. - Use of several electronic design and simulation packages. - Simulations of RFID/SmartCard reader and Card operation. - Design optimization such as Noise Figure/Gain/Stability for LNA.
CAD/CAE	- PCB layout, Schematic drafting.
Antenna Design	- Several microwave patch antenna designs – linear, single and dual circular polarization by phasing and eccentric patch geometries. Matching and optimization of chip style antennae (e.g. Bluetooth). - Measurement of antenna patterns/gain/polarization etc.
Filter Design	- Low loss and low cost microwave interdigital band pass filter. - Edge coupled microwave bandpass filter design. - Ceramic microwave filter & diplexor design. - Various discrete component IF stage filters 10MHz to 100MHz. - Low frequency active and filter designs including switched capacitor type.
Analog Design	- Designs using multiplexed signals (digital/analog/power and RF on single coaxial cable). - Instrumentation amplifier and other low level amplifier stages.
Receiver Design	- Low power microwave LNA development. - Optimization of Noise Figure/Gain/Stability for VHF/Microwave LNA’s. - FSK demodulators 10MHz to 50MHz. - Microwave detector and pre-amplifiers with AGC. - Detailed sensitivity/Intermod/Adjacent channel rejection testing.
Transmitter Design	- Low power FSK modulators 18MHz to 45MHz. - Design of 2.4GHz 3-port switching matrix. - Various microstrip designs including low power 2.4GHz phase modulator.
Oscillator Design	- Oscillators and Phase Locked Loops from 10MHz to 2.5GHz using various technologies.
ATE	- Development of Automatic Test System for Product testing (RF & digital).
Discrete Design	- Transformer/Balun matching designs. - Discrete transistor amplifier designs. - Discrete/distributed matching designs. - Low voltage designs e.g. 3v and 1v.
SmartCards	- Contactless SmartCard reader coupling loop design/testing and fabrication. - Multi-antenna from single reader application. - Contactless SmartCard reader hardware development. - Type “A” & “B” reader developments.
